What ConstructQuant Provides

ConstructQuant turns construction drawings and specifications into measured quantities and priced estimates. Work can cover a full project through construction estimating, measured quantities only through quantity takeoff services, budget-stage cost planning through cost estimating, or bid-day pricing through bid estimating. Trade-specific estimates, such as MEP, concrete, or drywall, and sector-specific estimates, such as commercial, residential, or healthcare, are available through the same process.

Every estimate is tied to the documents it was prepared from. Quantities, pricing, and the written scope and assumptions are delivered together, so a reviewer can see what was included, what was excluded, and why.

How an Estimate Is Prepared

Every project follows the same six-step workflow:

1. Plans/Documents — The client shares the drawings, specifications, addenda, and scope information available for the project.
2. Scope Review — The requested scope is checked against the documents, and assumptions, exclusions, and open questions are identified.
3. Quantity Takeoff — Quantities are measured from the documents and organized by trade, division, or area.
4. Pricing — Project-specific pricing inputs are applied to the quantities and cost categories in scope.
5. QA/QC — Quantities, pricing, and scope boundaries are reviewed before delivery.
6. Final Estimate Delivery — The agreed estimate package is delivered.

Scope, format, timing, and fees are confirmed for each project before work begins.
